Don't play with your food!

This year marks my foray into all things kitchen-y, and I dare say it wasn't too much of a failure!

This is an exquisite Eiffel Tower crafted out of unsalted Lurpak butter, with top-grade ebiko adorning the peak of the tower.

These are some, er, truffles I made, if they can be called that. It's crushed Oreo mixed with cream cheese and coated in melted chocolate. My brother claims that it tastes like "mini Oreo cheesecake". Oreo cheesecake in a ball! You could try it out yourself. Ideally, blend the cookies in a blender and mix with some dollops of cream cheese. Estimate the amount of cream cheese to approximate a malleable doughy mix that can be rolled into balls. Freeze the balls till (till they turn blue), then coat it in melted chocolate. Just be a lazy bitch and microwave the chocolate. Double-boiling takes forever. Just don't microwave one huge chunk and let it heat up for more than 30 seconds. You don't want exploding chocolate. In your face.

This is a cookie of my initials. Jason's girlfriend, being a very nice and kind person, knew I was feeling down so made this out of her own accord to cheer me up. Which was really sweet of her. However the cookie didn't survive the bumpy ride home, and broke into pieces.

This post is for suckers like me who hunt other people's blogs and get really sour grape-y because everyone's having too much of a good time to blog and I am really bored!
