Fresh snowfall is pretty. It is white, pristine, and fluffy. But that was just last night. Not 24 hours later, the snow is now grey and clumpy. Not that I don't appreciate the lovely men who shovel the snow for us. But the snow is grey and clumpy all the same. It was exceptionally lovely last night. There was hardly any foot traffic, and cars moved at a snail's pace. It's as if the world was put on x0.5 speed.

But not 24 hours later, all that has changed.

Hello, a very Merry Christmas--- or a Happy Holidays if you happen to be a pain-in-the-ass progressive.

(( I happen to be the latter ;) ))
