Four types of people:
1. The Talkative person with no regard to other people's opinions
This person jabbers on and on about his own things, and while the other person is responding, he is thinking of what next to say. Centres conversation around self. Always intent on stealing the limelight, by not letting others get a word in edgewise. E.g. "Eh you know my house have a lot of mosquitoes? I got many bites!" "Ya ya ya let me tell you my house is even worse! I get dozens of bites every night!"
100% output, 0% input
2. The Talkative person who is attuned to other people
This person may be talkative, but he is a joy to be around as he can correspond to what you're talking about, making the conversation an interesting two-way conversation that exchanges thoughts and opinions. Majority of conversation revolve around self, but accepts other people's input as well.
75% output, 25% input
3. The Quiet person who listens intently
This person may speak little, but he is keenly aware of what's going on around him and intersperses the dialogue with brief but insightful opinions. Steers the conversation towards the other person.
25% output, 75% input
4. The Quiet person who has his head off in space
This person may appear to be listening to you, but his is really just zoning out and your words trickle like beads of water off the back of a duck. He interjects with a brief grunt of acknoledgement without any genuine sign of comprehension.
0% output, 100% input (which is directed to his own musings and fancies)
In school, it's damn amusing to hear two Type 1s have a conversation.
I think Type 2 and 3 will get along pretty well, and so do two Type 2s and two Type 3s. Type 1s frequently find solace in Type 3s, sometimes also Type 2s. However, under the influence of Type 1s, Type 2s are forced to regress to Type 3s as their talkative nature would be superceded by the overwhelming Type 1s. Sometimes, if you really push it, Type 3s may also regress to Type 4 because they start to lose interest, and their mind wanders off.
Just for classification purposes.

Hamer had just published a study that claimed not only to have finally proved that male homosexuality was at least partially genetic but also to have pinpointed the stretch of chromosome where one of the genes involved resided. Hamer and his colleagues conducted extensive interviews with 76 pairs of gay brothers and their family members and found that homosexuality seemed to be inherited through the maternal line. This led him to compare the X chromosomes—which can be inherited only from the mother—in those same brothers. There he discovered a shared genetic marker, a patch of DNA called Xq28. Interviews with the subjects also revealed them to be either gay or straight. (In this respect, men are entirely different from women. Studies have shown that women respond to all types of sexual depictions—not only heterosexual and homosexual images but even those of chimpanzees having sex.)

Assuming that there's a gay gene, we should just leave the gay people alone and not force them to get married. By forcing them to conform to society, they will get married and procreate, producing more gay babies. By allowing them to reside with their partners, they wouldn't be able to continue the bloodline. Leave the gay people alone, and they'll just die out. Survival at its best!

Good classification! I passed by your school today, it looks quite nice. :D
cheryl: The classification works only as a general guideline, but otherwise it's too much of a generalisation. Most of us fall into a couple of the types.
My school cheater one. They know that we face lots of competition from the surrounding schools, so they purposely make the grandstand, i.e. the area facing the main road, damn nice. Inside it's pretty nondescript.
